Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hostal in Guayaquil. While the location is central and offers some nice spots to visit like the cathedral and iguana park, the initial overbooking issue set a negative tone. The room was a bit old but acceptable, and I appreciated the assistance I received from the English-speaking staff. Just be cautious about going out at night as the area feels a bit unsafe after dark.
This hotel has a great location, conveniently close to the waterfront and just a short drive from the airport. Unfortunately, the stairs leading to the rooms can be quite challenging, especially for older guests, and the overall condition of the hotel leaves much to be desired. The breakfast was very basic and not very appetizing, but the staff were lovely and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, while it may have potential, I believe there are better options available nearby.
The hotel is centrally located, which was a major plus, and the staff were genuinely kind and helpful. However, my room had several issues like faulty electrical sockets and erratic air conditioning. The internet was down for a day, and I had to deal with maintenance problems, which made the stay less than ideal. Given the standard of accommodations in Ecuador, I was hoping for something a bit better for the price I paid.
I had a mixed experience at the Hostal. The location was convenient near the waterfront and the airport, but my journey started on the wrong foot because they overbooked my room. The staff was friendly and helpful once I settled in, but the room itself was a bit dated. Overall, it could use some improvements, especially for seniors or those with mobility issues.
My stay had its ups and downs. Initially, I faced some frustration due to an overbooking issue that resulted in a move to another hostal, which was not ideal. However, the helpful English-speaking staff improved my experience. The location is in the heart of Guayaquil, giving easy access to some sights, but the surroundings can feel a bit unsafe at night. Overall, it wasn't the best choice for my travels.
